Doornkop offers eight well-stocked trout dams on the property. All fisherfolk must have the necessary permits, which can be obtained from Reception.

Tackle the mountain trails with gusto through rolling fields that break into sweeping views.
Kindly note that guests are required to bring their own bikes and helmets.

Adventurous souls and car fanatics will love an afternoon scrambling up rocky roads to reach hilltops.

Horseriding

For a unique perspective and to get up-close to wildlife on the Reserve, book a horseback ride suitable for the whole family.

Wi-Fi facilities are only available at Reception. Wi-Fi vouchers can be purchased to make use of these facilities.

We have dry bosveld kaggel / braai wood that is of exceptional quality and will make your braai experience much more successful and enjoyable. The wood bundles are available for purchase at the Doornkop Shop (located next to Reception)

Kindly take note that Doornkop Fish & Wildlife Reserve is a cashless operation. As such cash is not accepted for any transactions.

Cleaning Services: Chalets are serviced by the Housekeeping Team daily, with the exception of Sundays and Public Holidays. Additional towel and bed linen changes can be arranged at a nominal fee; kindly inform Reception.

Noise Policy: Please keep noise levels respectful at all times; Quiet hours from 20:00. Refrain from loud music or disruptive sounds to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.
